National Business Furniture President Kent Anderson, surrounded by staff, cutting through packing tape instead of the usual ceremonial ribbon.

All of us at the NBF are happy to announce that, on August 26th, 2013, National Business Furniture opened a new, 100,000-square foot distribution center in Cleveland, Ohio. The ribbon cutting ceremony featured an appropriate substitution, with National Business Furniture President Kent Anderson, surrounded by staff, cutting through packing tape instead of the usual ceremonial ribbon. This distribution center will now be one of three, with the other two located in Austell, Georgia and Reno, Nevada. With this new location in Cleveland, Ohio, National Business Furniture hopes to provide better service to Midwestern and Northeastern states by shrinking delivery time and reducing the risk of product damage, as products will no longer have to travel as far as they had to previously.

The new Cleveland location will also nearly double National Business Furniture’s storage capacity, allowing for more product offerings and an increase in the ever-popular “Ship Today” items. In fact, more than 800 products, including task chairs, office desks, and file cabinets, will be stocked for quick delivery to better serve and satisfy all National Business Furniture customers.

The facility will become completely functional within the next two weeks, serving the Midwest and the Northeast. This means that customers can now expect their orders of stocked products to arrive in one to three business days, instead of the former delivery time which could reach up to five days.

Based on National Business Furniture’s customer-based distribution, this will be our most cost-effective distribution center. With these changes now being implemented, we are greatly looking forward to better serving all of our customers in the Midwest and Northeast.
