The Spectrum six drawer 36"W lateral file cabinet boasts heavy-gauge welded steel construction for rugged durability you can depend on for worry-free use. Powder coat paint finish resists scratches and chipping to keep its good looks for years to come.
This heavy-duty file cabinet features four standard fixed-front drawers and two retractable front drawers. Top two retractable drawers allow easy access to files with spring-assisted doors that flip up and slide back into the cabinet. Each drawer holds letter or legal files and glides on heavy duty, full extension ball bearing suspensions. Easy-grip, full-width pulls provide easy operation and include plastic label holders. A single keyed lock controls all openings, and a mechanical interlock system prevents more than one drawer from opening at a time, eliminating the danger of tipping. Four leveling glides provide stability on uneven floors. Optional front-to-back rods (30049) are available, and if you're interested in added stability, call us to discuss adding counterweights to your Spectrum lateral file.
