This reception desk features a melamine laminate and matching PVC edge banding to prevent unwanted bumps and scratches to keep it looking good as new. This reception desk also features a frosted Plexiglas under the counter that allows light to come through, and leveling glides that compensate for uneven flooring.

  Hi Carol and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this unit does not come with optional casters. If you are able to find a product called a caster base (similar to 30064) then it might work to give you the mobility you are looking for. The reception desk is 22 x 48 as an overall foot print and if you elevate this unit it also elevates the desk surface. I hope that helps! Dawn

  This desk has a standard height of 30" for the workspace. It is meant for sitting. The height of 43.25" is the top of the transaction counter.
