An anti-collision sensor prevents accidents by stopping up-and-down movements if an object is detected. A quiet UL-listed electric motor and 10-foot power cord plug into a standard wall outlet, so the sit-stand desk can be used in any setting, from an open floor plan to a private office. The desk features a motorized base and a surface with built-in wire management. The grommet hole allows you to keep wires, cords, and cables organized and out of sight, and it can accommodate a circular power port or charging station if you decide to retrofit the desk with built-in power. Built to endure the rigors of a busy professional environment, the durable thermally fused laminate work surface is resistant to scratches and stains, while a welded 16-gauge steel base allows the desktop to support up to 176 pounds.
