The honeycomb core design inside the plastic tabletop is the key to the unbelievable strength (it will hold 2,000 pounds, evenly distributed) of these tables, and why they are so easy to carry and to set up.
Weighing in at only 52 pounds, this table is incredibly rigid and strong, thanks to an ABS plastic top and bottom shell bonded to a .75" thick honeycomb cellular core. Legs are 18-gauge, 1.125" seam-welded tubular steel in a Black baked enamel finish. The C-shaped leg lock is gravity-operated; it won't bind into the leg mechanism when folding.
