The Jacob hip chair is constructed with a 16 gauge tubular steel frame and has wall saver back legs. The seat features high-density foam for long-lasting comfort, and the chair is rated for patients and guests up to 500 pounds. The seat and back are upholstered in vinyl, and the polyurethane arm caps protect the chair when in high-traffic use. Non-marring nylon glides keep the chair from marking up your floors. Set at a slightly higher height, the seat is designed to be easy on geriatrics patients, pregnant women, as well as those who have had hip surgery. A footrest adds comfort while seated.
