All laminate shelves are fixed and support up to 40 lbs each evenly distributed. Side panels are painted black. The Lateral File includes 2 letter/legal file drawers featuring industrial diamond shaped metal mesh panels with laminate backing to prevent show-through, as well as brushed nickel drawer pulls. Drawers lock for added security.
