Each pedestal has 2 supply drawers and 1 hanging file drawer that can accommodate letter- or legal-size hanging files and lock for security. All the drawers pull out smoothly on full-extension metal ball-bearing glides for easy access. Two grommet holes allow you to keep wires, cords, and cables organized and out of sight and can accommodate a circular power port or charging station if you decide to retrofit the desk with built-in power. The hutch features 3 drawers for small supplies, providing additional storage. The 2 cabinets each have 2 shelves behind the doors, including one adjustable shelf. The wide-open shelf at the top of the unit is ideal for stacking books or displaying decorative items. There is also a smaller open shelf that can be adjusted in height or removed, located below the drawers. Lastly, there are 3 cubbies found above the drawers. A tip restraint kit is included. Constructed of solid hardwood and cherry veneer, providing durable surfaces. All sides are fully finished on the desk. The hutch is unfinished.
