The durable one piece construction, 1500 lb. load capacity and ballast door for additional weight make this chair a safe choice for mental health furniture, juvenile therapy centers, residential institutions, public safety facilities and similar intense use applications. The curved seat and arms are comfortable to sit in without feeling restricted, and the overall size and weight of this chair makes it difficult to throw.

The Sentinel armchair is manufactured using rotational molding technology. This ensures a one piece design that no holes, hiding places or breakage points. Completely constructed on high impact, "no break" polyethylene, it has no wood or metal components that could be broken off and used to self harm or inflict injury on others. It also passes the CAL 133 fire retardant test, which is important for situations where patients, residents or inmates may attempt to start a fire. Use it as a standalone seat, or gang multiple chairs together. The ballast door allows you to weigh this chair down with sand, and the door secures easily with tamperproof screws.
